Michelle Mangione is a Los Angeles-based, award winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose songs have been featured in television and film. After spending much of her career behind a drumset, she decided to release her solo debut CD Life Beneath the Sun, a soulful and earnest take on a chaotic world. It was met with rave reviews. Her lyrics are always inspired by personal experience, and her music by many artists who came before her. She is currently collaborating with Grace Slick (of Jefferson Airplane) on lyrics for her upcoming CD. Michelle, a mainstay in the Los Angeles music scene, performs often with her acoustic guitar and box drum and band, bringing live performance to another level with her signature blend of percussion-infused music.
